Fixed and telescopic shelves are featured in the CONTEG portfolio to facilitate the support of equipment which cannot be rack mounted.  The range includes high-load shelves, document storage drawers, keyboard & monitor holders, high-load supports and adapters that allow installation of 19"
equipment into a rack with extrusion spacing of 21".

The optical products section includes information on fiber-optic termination and splice shelves  boxes, including wall-mounting versions. Fiber-optic splice boxes allow the termination of optical fibres in a rack and storage of spare fiber. A wide variety of panels are available to support various connector configurations.

Patch panels are attached to the 19" vertical extrusions and they allow termination of data and phone cables on various types of modules.

Majority of the CONTEG racks includes a basic earthing kit already in the standard configuration. Free-standing RSL and REV racks are an exception - in this case the earthing kit must be ordered separately.

Plinths are used as an aesthetic and stabilizing element of the free-standing racks. It is an alternative to the standard height adjustable feet or to the optional castors.

Mounting and connecting kits
Mounting kits are required for installing equipment into the vertical extrusions and these can be found in this section. Connecting kits for baying racks together are also covered within this section.

This chapter includes various accessories that are regularly required to complete the installation of racks and frames such as cable protection grommets, wall-mounting brackets for 19" equipment and lighting units.

The RSH SOHO racks are the only CONTEG racks in the portfolio with vertical extrusion spacing of 10". All of the accessories for the 10" RSH line are included within this section including optical termination shelves, cable managers and copper patch panels.
