Space optimisation sections

Sections from this system allow extension of a rack in the direction required. Their application allows efficient routing of the cable management or power supply management outside the rack space "proper"; hence the internal cabinet space is then fully available for placement of servers, disk arrays, etc. We guarantee full compatibility of the extending sections with the ROF series racks that are recommended for installation in data centers. The design consists of the below section types:

• Middle section 
• Rear section 
• Front/rear section

Middle section
The middle section is located between two adjacent racks. It is suitable for running cabling, interconnecting cables and power supply of the system. Administration of cabling and power is simplified as both can be located in the middle section. The middle section is compatible with the ROF racks as well as with all the other CONTEG systems for vertical organization of cabling.

• Standard width 300mm
• Front and rear panel with a lock
• The section is not equipped with side panels
• Cable inlets in the top and bottom cover 
• Vertical panel with s 9x19" positions for placing of interconnecting patchcords and of the power supply system.

End section
The End section is located at the end of a row of racks. Use of this section can be  very efficient in hot and cold corridor design because it allows concentration of the cabling management, power supply and interconnection to the end of the racks row where the above systems can be accessed most easily.

• Welded frame structure
• Front and rear panel with a lock
• The section is not equipped with side panels
• Cable inlets in the top and bottom cover 
• Compatible with 19" vertical extrusions and /or vertical systems of the cabling organization

Front/rear section
It is located in front or behind the rack - it extends its depth and increases the inner space. Therefore, it is possible to install equipment into the rack with great depth even in case that the original data center design did not take this into account (re-mounting of the section). Besides deeper equipment installation, the section provides space for more efficient organization of cabling and of the power supply system.

• Security glass door with a swivel handle lock; optionally, a wide range of doors offered (lath mesh, sheet metal, perforated metal, vertically divided, etc.)
