The goal of this facelift was to ensure that the aesthectic appearance of the Conteg's wall mounted racks is consistent across the full range; RON, ROD, RUN and RUD. The primary function of the RON and ROD racks and their respective features remain the same.

These changes apply to the bottom frame of the racks. The appearance of the racks will be similar to the RUN and RUD series. The change in construction and the shape of the bottom plate means that the racks will be 33mm smaller in overall height for a given Rack Unit size.

Thanks to the consistent aesthetic appearance it will be possible to install combinations of the wall mounting racks next to each other whilst maintaining a standard appearance.

The main selection criteria when choosing the wall mounted rack is still primarily the level of accesssibility to the equipment. When compared with RUN and RUD series the RON and ROD racks have limited access; only from the front door (RON) or from the front and rear of the cabinet in the case of the ROD rack.
