CoolSpot - Cooling at the IT Rack Level
CoolSpot are small air-conditioning units designed for covering low to medium heat loads inside racks from the PREMIUM and OPTIMAL series. CoolSpot units are available in two versions, each using a different cooling principle – a version with direct expansion (DX) with a complete internal compression-cooling circuit, and a version with cold water cooling (CW), suitable for connection to the cold water distribution piping in the building. Both versions are available in two variants: either mounted to the top housing of the rack (TM design) or mounted in place of one of the rack's side panels (WM design). CoolSpot air-conditioning units are suitable for cooling equipment in free-standing racks or as a secondary system for data centers and server rooms that have insufficient central air-conditioning.
CoolSpot TW
Air-conditioning unit for mounting onto the top housing of the rack. Connection to the cold water piping system in the building. A two-way control valve controls the temperature inside the rack.

CoolSpot TM
Air-conditioning unit with direct expansion and internal compressor. Mounted onto the top housing of the rack. Without the need for additional piping. Condensate evaporates into the room.

Air-conditioning unit with direct expansion and internal compressor. Mounted onto the side panel of the rack. Without the need for additional piping. Condensate evaporates into the room.
