Foxconn Kutná Hora - Cooling of an AI Server Testing Hall

For an AI server testing (burn-in) hall at the Foxconn manufacturing facility in Kutná Hora, CONTEG supplied a high-capacity precision cooling system. The sister company DCI CZ acted as the general contractor and carried out the complete installation and commissioning of the system. Servers operating under full load generate a heat load of 46 kW per rack, several times higher than in a conventional data center. Water-cooled CoolTeg Plus units, configured with enclosed hot aisles and complemented by CoolTop ceiling units, remove heat from the production line without redundancy and without interrupting operation.

• Supply of 60 CoolTeg Plus CW 60 water-cooled units (52U height, EC fans, integrated humidification, SNMP) and 40 CoolTop3 CW ceiling units, including touchscreen displays and controls. Heat load of 46 kW per rack, airflow rate of 8,000 m³/h per rack. Complete installation: DCI CZ (CONTEG Group).
