CoolSpot Wall Mount (AC-WWxx) units are a great choice for projects where there is insufficient vertical space to install Top Mount devices on top of the cabinets. Hot air is drawn into the cooler from the top of the cabinet. Cool air is blown into the lower part of the cabinet. The units are available with nominal outputs of 870 to 6,700 Watts. The actual performance depends on the temperature of the cooling water and the air in the cabinet. Two cooling units can be used for one cabinet to ensure redundant operation or to increase the cooling capacity.

The air conditioning unit is supplied with an adapter – a special side panel and base that perfectly fits the selected type of cabinet and the dimensions of the air conditioning unit. CoolSpot WW devices are compatible with free-standing cabinets of the RSF, RDF series.

CoolSpot CWs have been developed for locations where heat and noise from the compressor circuit might interfere with other operations in the room. The units require a connection to the building’s central cold water supply. The cooling capacity of each air conditioning unit is controlled by a 2-way valve according to the actual need in order to maintain the required temperature inside the CONTEG cabinet.

Body text 2	CONTEG CoolSpot CW air conditioning units are designed to maintain the required air temperature inside CONTEG cabinets with minimal power consumption. The units include a high-efficiency water exchanger that connects to the building’s existing cold water distribution system. A radial fan ensures even air flow inside the cabinet and heat removal from the interior to the water tube exchanger. Thanks to quiet operation, the units can be installed even in rooms with permanent human presence, and the heat from the cabinets does not disturb the comfort in the room. When installing the units, make sure there is sufficient space above or next to the cabinet for installation and subsequent servicing of the cooling device. CoolSpot CW units include a 2-way solenoid valve with a capillary controlled mechanical thermostat at the air exhaust. The desired temperature can be set in the range from 20 to 46 °C with 4K hysteresis. The valve also closes if the float in the condensate pan detects an excessive level. In such case, the fan remains in operation. Cabinets with CoolSpot units can easily be supplemented with a simple Conteg RAMOS monitoring system to monitor the internal and external temperature and humidity.
