CoolSpot DX WM

CoolSpot DX units include a complete refrigerant circuit including the compressor, evaporator, condenser and integrated control. The units are designed for cooling standalone cabinets up to 6 kW of power. These easy-to-install Plug&Play air conditioning units require only the electric mains and a connection to a condensate drain.

The operation of the units is controlled by an EBM controller with a simple display to maintain the desired temperature inside the CONTEG cabinet.

CONTEG CoolSpot DX independent air conditioning units based on direct evaporation are equipped with small piston compressors and a complete refrigerant circuit, which means that they do not require any additional piping except for condensate drainage, the amount of which is reduced by evaporation into the room (for capacities from 1.4 kW). Safety on the condensate side is ensured by a system of three tubs. The special design of the condenser exchanger allows operation without filters on the air side, which significantly reduces the cost and time required for system maintenance. Overall, these units are applicable in a wide range of use cases.

Electronic regulation ensures safe operation of the entire device with optimal conditions and maximum energy efficiency so that there neither overheating nor undercooling occurs in the cabinet. Make sure that the room where a cabinet with this type of air conditioning unit is to be located is sufficiently sized (also for the subsequent servicing of the device) and sufficiently ventilated so that air temperature always stays within the +20 to +55 °C range.

Cabinets with CoolSpot units can easily be supplemented with a simple CONTEG RAMOS monitoring system to monitor the internal and external temperature and humidity.

This type of air conditioning unit can be easily installed even in existing ROF cabinets in operation - a side panel is replaced with the unit and appropriate blanks. The installation requires that the cabinet meets IP54 protection level.
