CoolTeg Plus DF
CoolTeg Plus DF is an inter-cabinet air conditioning unit based on an innovative two-liquid cooling technology combining water and compressor cooling. As such, the unit contains a unique, highly efficient heat exchanger that enables the use of free cooling. The key functional elements of the system are integrated in the indoor unit, and heat removal from the data center is realized by a hydraulic circuit. This circuit is connected to two branches within the unit – a water exchanger and a water-cooled condenser. The water exchanger is used mainly in winter at low outdoor temperatures, and the water-cooled condenser is used mainly in the summer months, when it is necessary to activate the compressor circuit. The unit operates in three different modes – free-cooling mode, compressor mode (direct vapor) and mixed (hybrid) mode, when both branches of the unit are actively involved, i.e., both the water and the compressor part.
CoolTeg Plus DF40 – this unique cooling unit with a width of mere 40 cm and a maximum power of up to 24.5 kW can be connected to a hydraulic circuit (water-glycol) with a pump and an external dry cooler. A great advantage lies in the possibility to connect a single unit or multiple units to one hydraulic circuit, or to connect a group of units to one hydraulic circuit and another group to another hydraulic circuit, or to connect all units (or groups of units) to any number of hydraulic circuits - there are countless options to save acquisition costs or to increase redundancy of the data center cooling system.
Compared to a water-based cooling system (CW unit) with chillers, the advantage of the CoolTeg plus DF system lies mainly in the redundancy at the indoor unit.

CoolTeg Plus DX
In addition to fans and control components, DX indoor units include a highly efficient evaporator for R410A refrigerant. Each indoor unit must be connected to a Mitsubishi outdoor compressor unit via a refrigerant pipe. This “split” system is controlled autonomously. Multiple units can be combined into groups under single control. Mitsubishi outdoor units are equipped with a frequency-controlled compressor, an electronic expansion valve and other high-end components. CONTEG offers three power types – 7 kW; 12 kW, 18 kW and 24 kW with continuous regulation. In our new CoolTeg Plus units, we leverage state-of-the-art technology and precise regulation based on our experience from data centers around the world. As the technology of fans, exchangers, compressors and control elements continues to evolve, we also innovate our products to ensure their best performance for our customers.
The units are equipped with power-efficient EC fans and an obliquely placed highly efficient heat exchanger. Temperature and humidity are measured in both the cold and warm zones, and the area for air intake and conditioned air exhaust has been maximized to optimize air distribution. The main differences can be found in the unit controller. We use a brand new controller with advanced CONTEG software and a new 4.3"" graphic color touch screen that matches the 21st-century air conditioning technology. One display can serve up to 16 air conditioning units in the data room with a maximum cable length of 500 m. The system communicates via the TCP/IP protocol, leverages an integrated web server and can be remotely controlled and supervised from a PC over the internet. CoolTeg Plus DX units are designed to be connected to selected state-of-the-art Mitsubishi Electric outdoor compressor units. CoolTeg Plus are the most modern units from the precision cooling family suitable for efficient cooling of server rooms and data centers of all types.
The refrigerant system is limited by the distance between the indoor and outdoor units (see detailed technical documents) and their height difference. Cooling operation is guaranteed in the outdoor temperature range from -15 to +46 °C. CoolTeg Plus DX with an outdoor unit is a highly efficient system with an environmentally friendly coolant, which is especially suitable for server rooms with a total output of up to 100 kW. Where a greater cooling capacity is needed, it would be more economical to use a water-based system. The cooling capacity of each unit is individually adjusted according to the immediate requirements by the power of the compressor, the opening of the electronic expansion valve and the speed of the fans of the outdoor and indoor units. When it is necessary to reduce the relative humidity of the room to a preset level, the unit automatically responds by reducing the air flow and increasing the cooling capacity. CoolTeg Plus DX units provide maximum sensible cooling capacity in relation to the latent cooling capacity thanks to an advanced humidity management logic. Year-round energy consumption compared to other air conditioning units is therefore significantly lower.

Water-cooled units are connected to a chilled water distribution system, which is usually shared by all units in the data center. This can create a cooling system with unlimited power and scale. It requires only an appropriate design and implementation of the pipe system, pumps and sources of cold - chillers. CoolTeg Plus XC
CoolTeg Plus XC is a series of in-row cooling units based on the direct refrigerant evaporation principle. The compressor is located in the indoor unit and is connected to the outdoor air cooled condenser. The distance between the indoor and outdoor unit may be no longer than 60 m. Such arrangement protects all important components from climatic phenomena (heat, frost, rain, snow, desert storms) and allows cooling to operate independently of the ambient conditions within a temperature range of -40 to + 50 °C.

CoolTop DX
CoolTop DX cooling units are designed for easy installation above IT cabinets, so they are ideal for effective targeted cooling of server rooms and large data centers.
CoolTop DX indoor units are connected to outdoor condensing units by means of a refrigerant pipe. The CoolTop DX unit includes a special exchanger with two separate refrigerant circuits.
In basic mode, one 19 kW or 24 kW outdoor unit can be connected to each CoolTop unit. If higher cooling capacity is required, a second outdoor cooling unit may be connected to increase the cooling capacity to up to 38 kW or 48 kW.
CoolTop is a solution that is not only economical, but also effective, serving to immediately increase the cooling performance without the need for structural modifications. CoolTop cooling units are suitable for closed cold aisle and closed hot aisle and can also be combined with CoolTeg units in the same zone/aisle.

Thanks to the hot gas bypass technology, the cooling output can be adjusted up from 11% of the total cooling output, regardless of the outdoor conditions. A combination of a specially designed condenser, EC fans, and an optional dynamic condensing pressure control system minimizes the power consumption of the cooling unit as well as the level of emitted noise.
A built-in controller with special CONTEG SW software takes care of the operation of the unit and the correct functionality of all its components. The controller also ensures communication with the indoor unit over the Fieldbus protocol. Basic operating parameters of the outdoor unit can be monitored on the indoor unit. The design of the condensing unit allows its attachment to the floor or the wall. The CoolOut units are extremely user-friendly and simple to set up and operate. First start and operation is very easy.

Air Separation Frame
The separation frame is used to create a cold zone in front of the installed equipment, which increases the cooling efficiency, as the fans of the installed equipment (e.g. servers) suck in cold air that does not mix with warm air. A modified version of the separation frames allows easier installation of cabinets in a row and their connection. This version is also compatible with the new DP-DR-UNI-Q quick-connect kit. If you use both products together, it is possible to leverage separation frames pre-installed by the manufacturer or integrator. Cabinets can be linked in a row without tools by a single person.

Cold air inlet deflector for side access to network elements is a flexible deflector compatible with any network chassis where side-to-side air flow is required. It is suitable for all types of rack cabinets with a width of 800 mm with type A rails. The deflector is designed for chassis heights from 5 to 25U and depths ranging from 450 to 710 mm. 3U of space above and below the chassis is required for proper airflow. A wedge deflector located on the exhaust edge of the chassis ensures proper airflow by driving the exhaust air into two directions, up and down. The deflector can be easily adjusted during installation on site according to the size of the chassis. Compatible with both type A rails and a separation frame.

The chimney solution is designed to remove hot waste air from the cabinet to the ceiling soffit. The chimney is made of 1 mm steel sheet with powder treatment; the delivery includes an upper cover for attachment to PREMIUM series cabinets, a sealing set ensuring an ideal seal between the cabinet and the ceiling soffit. The height of the chimney is variable between 750 and 1360 mm to accommodate to the local situation. A rear deflector is part of the chimney solution. It is designed to support natural flow of hot air through the chimney into the ceiling. It is designed for easy entry of cabling and a power line into the cabinet. The RAMOS ACS access system comprises hardware and software - the compact RAMOS ULTRA ACS base unit including accessories and the CONTEG Pro Server application. The access system allows to control up to 5,000 doors using multiple control and monitoring units integrated into the software application. RAMOS ULTRA ACS is a versatile yet compact main control unit, powered by 12 VDC. One unit supports up to 500 sensors and can control up to 50 cabinets using expanders (RDUs). Hypoxic Air Fire Preventive System
A unique system that fully replaces conventional fixed fire extinguishing equipment and prevents fire with a guarantee of zero fire risk in the protected area of ??the data center. The solution is designed so that a fire cannot occur in the data center at all, thanks to the so-called hypoxic air (with reduced oxygen level). The hypoxic technology permanently maintains the oxygen level in the protected area of the data center below 16% (the usual level is 21%) for the entire life of the building. The 16% threshold is critical for the combustion process. A lower oxygen level makes it impossible for a fire to occur, but is still completely safe for human presence, as confirmed by the State Health Institute of the Czech Republic. The environment corresponds approximately to an altitude of 2,700 meters.

KVM consoles are designed for deployment in server rooms and large data centers. Consoles allow direct or remote access to individual servers or their stacks. Conteg KVM consoles enable easy configuration and management of servers from all major vendors (IBM, HP, DELL, SUN, and others). Their advantage is the integration of a KVM switch and a LCD console with a keyboard and touchpad into a compact unit with a height of 1U.
LCD holders are fitted with high-quality 17"" or 19"" SAMSUNG monitors. The design of the holder allows it to be folded so that the total height of the console with the LCD monitor does not exceed 1U. The holder also includes brackets for easy installation and extension of the KVM/LCD console. The PREMIUM series racks provide unlimited flexibility in planning their final appearance - mainly thanks to the exchangeability of the top and bottom cover. The portfolio includes 3 types of top covers and 9 types of partial bottom covers. This makes it possible to customize the location and types of openings for the entry of cabling into the cabinet. The covers create a unique interface between the cable routing and management systems outside and inside the cabinet. All the covers can be used for PREMIUM Cabling RDF and PREMIUM Server RSF series cabinets. They can be delivered installed on the cabinet or as a separate item (supplied in a cardboard box).

The 4-20 mA technology is used to transmit analog signals over long distances where electrical interference may cause problems. Hub for Two Electronic Handles
The hub for connecting two door handles to one RDU door access unit allows the output to be split for the control of two CONTEG door handles in one cabinet. Three RJ-45 ports (1 input and 2 outputs).
With the RDU hub, it is impossible to distinguished the handles in the system as they appear as one. If any of the handles is opened or unlocked with a key, the system displays the status for both handles. Using the hub with RDU door access units, up to 100 cabinets (200 handles) can be connected to a single RAMOS Ultra control and monitoring unit or up to 50 cabinets (100 handles) to RAMOS Ultra ACS.
The hub cannot be used with electromagnetic locks.
